Storm Weavers and Savage Realms Press Announce Digital Publishing Partnership
Polish interactive fiction studio to bring Savage Realms Gamebooks to browser and Steam as playable digital adventures, beginning with Arbiter: Judge Jury Executioner
MILANÓWEK, POLAND / COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO, USA — July 26th, 2026 — Storm Weavers Sp. z o.o., the Polish interactive fiction studio behind the crowdfunded gamebook series Storm Weavers and Whispers Beyond the Stars, announced today a cooperation agreement with Savage Realms Press, the Colorado-based publisher of the highly acclaimed Savage Realms Gamebooks line, to co-develop digital adaptations of Savage Realms’ catalog of choice-driven adventures.
Under the agreement, Storm Weavers will design and build interactive digital editions of select Savage Realms titles — including browser-based Progressive Web Apps and Steam releases. Savage Realms Press will continue to own and steward the original literary works, with Storm Weavers holding exclusive digital publishing rights to the featured titles for the duration of the partnership.
The first title under the agreement is Arbiter: Judge Jury Executioner, TroyAnthony Schermer’s sci-fi, space western, bounty hunter gamebook, which Storm Weavers is adapting into a browser-based experience featuring a ship-terminal interface and an expanded combat system. Additional titles from the Savage Realms Gamebooks catalog — including Balance of Fate: The Legorian Kings Saga, What Dreams May Come, and The Tavern on Gallows Hill — are planned for future digital adaptation under the partnership.

Arbiter is just the first step.”

We’re excited to see these worlds playable in a new format, especially for readers who may have never held one of our books.”
Storm Weavers previously crowdfunded Storm Weavers: Stronghold and Whispers Beyond the Stars — the latter co-authored with veteran gamebook author, Dave Morris (Fabled Lands, Heart of Ice) — through successful Kickstarter and Gamefound campaigns, and has built a growing library of gamebook adaptations playable as browser-based Progressive Web Apps.
Beyond its partnership with Savage Realms Press, Storm Weavers is also expanding its shop at stormweavers.com/shop into a wider home for digital gamebook adaptations, with plans to publish further titles by Dave Morris. The first of these, Down Among the Dead Men, is already available; additional Dave Morris titles are currently in production.
Savage Realms Press has published nine titles in its flagship Savage Realms Gamebooks series to date, alongside horror anthologies and two art collections showcasing the illustrators behind its catalog, and counts Arbiter: Judge Jury Executioner, Balance of Fate: The Legorian Kings Saga, and The Tavern on Gallows Hill among its best-known works.
The first digital release under this partnership is expected in Q3/2026, with additional titles to follow.
