With the Siren’s Kiss having already been long underway since your abduction and precluding any possibility of escape, you are not taken back to the ship’s brig. Instead, your possessions are returned to you and you are given free roam of the ship ― the only exceptions being the quarters of Captain Savage and those of his officers, including Dinora, the First Mate.
It is sometime in the afternoon of your fifth day at sea that the Siren’s Kiss is ambushed by a leviathan from the ocean’s depths. As you are standing on the forecastle, a giant sea serpent suddenly and unexpectedly breaches the water’s surface on the starboard side, and, with the rapidity of a snake striking at its prey, devours one of the roughnecks in an instant.
